Start. Even if it's not perfect.

Start. Even if it’s not perfect.

Do you have unreasonably high expectations for yourself?

I do.

Like many entrepreneurs, I like to be in control, and I want all of the work I do to be top-notch.

Are you in the same boat?

I have to remind myself constantly that:

Done is better than perfect.

Perfectionism is often rooted in a fear of failure.

And no one notices those last teeny tiny tweaks (that you hold up the project to make).

Personally, I think my high expectations are rooted in fear of being judged, especially when I’m doing something in public.

What if the content isn’t good enough?

What if it doesn’t drive results?

What if no one cares?

All of these scenarios are possible.

But I’m still here, trying to practice what I preach: start, even if it’s not perfect.

So…

My new podcast is launching on Monday, September 20th.

In it, we’ll cut through the BS and dig into what it actually takes to start and grow a business.

I’ll share all the mistakes I’ve made (there’s plenty of material!) and, more importantly, what I’ve learned from them.

Each episode is 10 minutes or less for those of you who have a short attention span like me. 😉

Here’s to new beginnings. 🥂
